A space to pause, make sense of things, and find your way forward
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, stress, grief, relationship difficulties or a life transition, I offer warm, confidential counselling in Dunstable, Tring and online to help you make sense of what is happening and move towards meaningful change.
You have reached a point where life does not feel the way you hoped it would. Perhaps you are carrying grief, finding a relationship difficult, adapting to a change you never expected, or wondering who you are now. Your children may have grown up, work may have become overwhelming, or the life you have been living may simply no longer feel like it fits.
There may not be one clear problem to point to. Instead, you might have a quiet sense that something is not quite right, noticing anxiety, constant worry, tension, overthinking, numbness or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. You may feel overwhelmed by everyday life, caught in familiar patterns, or unsure where you belong.
Together, we can make sense of what is happening, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and explore what you need to move forward in a way that feels right for you. There is no expectation that you arrive with everything figured out; we can work at a pace that feels manageable.
Over time, many people find they begin to understand themselves with greater compassion, feel less overwhelmed by life's challenges, and develop the confidence to respond differently rather than repeating old patterns. The aim is to help you reconnect with yourself and move towards a life that feels more fulfilling and more your own.
I am a counsellor with a background in corporate life and personal experience of living overseas. These experiences have given me an understanding of the pressures that can come with demanding roles, navigating change, and the questions around identity, balance and belonging that can arise when life takes an unexpected turn.
I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can pause, feel heard and make sense of what they are experiencing without judgement. Whether you are living with anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, burnout or a life transition, my role is not to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you as you explore what matters most and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Alongside my private practice, I support young people aged 12–24 in a community counselling service and have worked with adults in a hospice setting, where I have accompanied people through bereavement, loss and significant life change. These experiences continue to deepen my appreciation of people's resilience and the importance of offering a therapeutic relationship that is compassionate, thoughtful and genuine.
I am a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my practice continues to grow alongside the people I work with.
As well as my private practise I also work at Sorted Counselling Services, a charity supporting young people aged 5-25 across Central Bedfordshire.
Because everyone is different, I adapt therapy to meet your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you are neurodivergent or neurotypical, my aim is to offer a space where you feel understood, accepted and able to work in a way that suits you.
Feeling understood is often where change begins. My aim is to offer a calm, compassionate space where you can slow down, explore what is happening at your own pace, and feel accepted without judgement. Alongside talking therapy, I work with an awareness of the mind-body connection, recognising that emotional experiences are often felt physically too.
Whether you are trying to make sense of a difficult experience, navigate a period of change, or reconnect with a sense of who you are, I aim to offer a space where you can feel understood, develop greater self-awareness, and move towards a life that feels more grounded, meaningful and your own.
You can contact me by telephone or email to arrange an initial appointment.
I offer a free 20 minute consultation. You do not have to know exactly what you need before getting in touch. it is a chance to see whether counselling feels helpful for you and whether you’d like to work with me.
In this call, I will listen to what’s brought you here and what’s been troubling you. I will ask a few background questions and what you hope to gain from therapy. You’ll get a feel for my approach and how we might work together.
If you decide to continue, I usually suggest we meet for six sessions and then review together.
Some people find six sessions is enough. Others benefit from more time as they explore difficult experiences, notice deeper patterns, or get to know themselves in new ways. There isn’t a right or wrong pace.
We’ll check in regularly to make sure the work feels helpful, supportive, and aligned with your needs.
Sessions last 50 minutes, usually weekly. The appointment time you’re offered will usually become your regular slot.
Once your session is booked, I will email you my working agreement and a short form to collect your details. Please return these before we meet. We’ll go through the agreement together in your first session.
